My power door lock winter blues

I own a 1999 Ford Taurus SE 3.0 Litre/ automatic with overdrive. The problem I've run into is with my power door locks. They were all working great until the cold set in this winter. Now when it gets to a certain temperature, the locks ( especially the drivers door), do not work properly, if at all :ohcrap: I am wondering if there might ne someone out there who may know of something I could do to get them to work in the cold. I'd like to thank you in advance for your time and patience in trying to deal with this.
