For full features; Go to Corolla grinding frequently when in gear, only stops when put in reverse...
I hope I am not repeating any threads here, but I think my problem is
pretty unique and I have no idea what is going on.
My car is a '98 Toyota Corolla, CE, automatic.
Frequently, about every time I take my car out, the transmission or
something will start grinding. Sometimes it happens if I go over a bump,
sometimes it just seems random. The whole car shakes and the engine becomes
very loud. The only thing that really stops it is to pull the car over, put
it in reverse until i feel it bump back into place, and then when i shift
back into drive the engine runs fine until it happens again.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
