I have a 1500 nissan engine with a VW DIFF and Transaxle on a Beach
buggy.
It has been going fine up until today.
I went for a ride along the beach, then all of a sudden there was this
knocking noise coming from underneath the car.
The noise is not coming from the engine.
Can someone give me some ideas as to what this could be please.
The car only has 2 gears and reverse and the noise only happens in 2nd.

is it automatic transmission?
might be a problem with second gear...does it take a minute to shift?
