For full features; Go to 94 BUICK ground pulse problem
Hi, I've been working on a 94 Buick lesabre and am in need of some help.
I have allready replaced the crank sensor and the cam sensor, I have fuel
pressure and spark, If I introduce fuel by air intake she fires, I have
power to the injectors but nothing on the ground side? I have checked all
my wiring and all my grounds. I am stumped, now keep in mind I work for a
DPW and I am limited as to what tools I have access to, I have no code
reader, so I cant pull codes, should I replace the control module? Is that
where the ground pulse eventually comes from?
thanks for your help I appreciate it alot!

If you work for the DPW, you need to get a code reader. It is a must for
anyone who will be working on today's complex cars. You could probably get
a good one for as much as you already wasted in time and unnecessary parts.
Get a code reader. As for the anything else, I don't know, but maybe
someone else here can give their :2cents:.

yippers! your right, I dont expect anyone who has never worked for a DPW to
understand what we fight for and never get, It seems they would rather you
just throw parts and $ at a vehicle rather that give you the tools you need
for the job, I gave up trying to figure that part of it out and now just do
what I can to fix the vehicles, so I gave it a try no harm no foul, thanks
for your comment and Great site.....

anywho, just figured I'd follow up, I threw a $50.00 junk yard ECM at it
today after swapping the prom of course and bingo she started. still wasnt
bad spent $120 definately cheaper than bringing it to a dealer or a
shop.....
thanx
