Hey folks.
I have a 1994 Buick Le Sabre Limited that has gone from a dream to drive to a nightmare!
My car has (as far as I can tell) 3 major operating problems.
A)
When the air temp is warm..the car will try to stall out upon acceleration. The problem is odd that it will do it from a dead stop, accelerating up hill, after coming down a hill, or just on level terrain , the car does not stall out..but there when I hold my foot on the pedal..the car acts like I am pumping the gas pedal (which I am not).
I had noticed in another thread about the possibility that I need to check the ECM..but do you all have any other ideas?

B)
As of late..the engine has heen idling rough..but after accelerating, the shaking (caused by the rough idle) either goes away..or is masked by the movement of the car. I also noticed that the car, when idling, sounds like a 2 cylinder motor.

3)
Occasionaly while driving..when the speed get up above 50mph..the car will start shaking violently when I have my foot on the gas..as soon as I let off the gas, the shaking stops yet continues when I push the gas pedal again.

I recently had the car "plugged in" to a computer at a shot and the thing that popped up was a misfire code. The shot replaced the plugs, cleaned the injectors, and checked all the plug wires. On my way home, the problems continued.
Any input is appreciated!

exactly what misfire code? posted by  tbaxleyjr

Find a shop that performs actual diagnostics instead of shotgun repairs. If they throw enough parts at it long enough, eventually they'll repair the concern by accident. Not a good way to do business unless they have plenty of sheeple who are willing to part with their money needlessly. posted by  vwhobo

Sadly..I have been unable to locate where I had the miss-fire code written down. :banghead:

sounds to me like an issue with fuel delivery. like injectors possibly. i know you said they cleaned them, but if they are faulty, then they will still be faulty, just now they are clean posted by  bullrage2003
