For full features; Go to Cavalier Idle Fluctuates
I have a 1995 Chevy Cavalier Z24 4 Cyclinder 2.3L. About a month ago the
idle started dropping when I would stop the car. It'll drop down like its
gonna stall out and then it catches itself. It drives fine and is fine when
im moving, it just does it when Im stopped. I took it to a mechanic and my
check engine light was on and they fixed a vaccum hose, an O2 sensor and
the cam shaft sensor. They also flushed the throttle body, and none of this
helped the problem, it still does it......any ideas? Help me! What could
this be?

its probably a Throttle positioning sensor goin bad.

im not sure of the code, but they checked the car and said that there was
nothing wrong with it and that it was fine, and everytime that it was at
the shop it idled fine. i got it back and it ran fine and normal for about
3 days, and yesterday it started idling weird and all messed up again.....

1st- Check your IAC Valve
2nd- Check your fuel system (Injectors, Fuel Pump, Pressure regulator)
3rd- Have your ignition checked (check plugs/ wires, ignition module,
ignition timing)
