For full features; Go to 1995 Buick lesabre- no start
Recently replaced the MAV sensor on my 1995 Buick Lesabre. After
replaceing, the car would not start. I have power to radio, windows,
lights etc, etc. However, I have no ignition and the starter will not turn
over. Vehicle acts as if it's dead. Battery is fine, fuses check out fine
and there are no loose connections. Any suggestions? Thanks

check the alternator

I doubt the alternator would have anything to do with it. Sounds to me more
like a starter relay. When you turn the key to start, is there a click that
would tell you the relay is closing? If not, have someone turn the key to
start while you give the relay a few good raps with a hard object. If that
solves the problem, it's time to replace the realy.

if its a starter issue, then there shouldnt be a problem with the
lights/radio ect

now I'm realy confused, or is one of you speaking in code?
Also, the alternator would only have any effect if the car was running, but
he can't get it to start, so if anything it is the battery, not the
laternator, and he says the battery is good. Of course he may just think
the battery is good, and should probably have it tested, or give it a boost
to be sure, but usualy a dead battery has a unique sound.
