Hi, My car has no power when going uphill only (2000 rpm tops even when
pedal to metal!) then what I do next is released the gas pedal and step on
it again and the car runs normal. This is what I have done to the car after
I have bought it 3 wks ago:
- Tune up (Sprk Plgs, Dist/Rtr, PCV & hose, Air filter & Oil & Filter)
- Replace Timing Belt
- Water pump & Coolant
- Thermostat
- Alt Belt
- Main Belt
- Valve cover gasket
- Tranny oil (Flush/Refill)
- Throttle Body Clean
The car also idles weird when in "P" (idles goes up and down 1500-1000
rpm)
and shakes a little bit when in "R" gear. Any suggestions!?!

this information won't help me, but it might help others.
does it matter what speed you are going when you go up a hill, like is it
ok if you are going 30 MPH up a hill but not when you are going 55 MPH?

i think its a torque converter problem.
