If you can tell me how your gender effects your tail lights, I will
consider it pertinent information.
On the gender free side, your best bet is to get a multimeter, or tester of
some form, and start tracing wires. Where do or don't you have power.
When you say tail lights, do you mean just the rear lights that come on
with the headlights, or are you referring to all the lights on the rear of
the car (directionals, brakes) and when you say gauges, do you mean they no
longer display speed, fuel level etc. or did the lights in the dash just
stop working?

the directionals and brakes work n when i say gauges i mean they do display
the speed but dnt light up

the headlights themselves are usually a different circuit from the rest of
the lights, but do the front marker lights work? usually you can turn
(pull?) the headlight switch one click and the parking lights come on, and
the rest of the way and the headlights come on. if you turn/pull it one
click, does anything happen? (ie, the clock etc. dim, front marker lights
come on). If not, it may be a bad switch, but don't go replacing anything
yet, we want to be sure before we go throwing parts at it.
