I think thats pretty badass
newyorker
sounds good but not a fan of putting a 2jz in a muscle car.
V-Tec
Georgous body on that. Its certainly unique and sounds great. Bet all the
fanboys are upset with that!!
fudge
for me its not the fan boy thing but an american muscle car is all about
torque and the mean sound. When i saw the title i thought it would be a
muscle car with a turbo v8 or something like that.

...Another one bites the dust...:banghead: :cussing: :cussing: :cussing:

Hey why not do something even cooler - LS7 into a Supra!!! Dang that would
fly!!!
fudge
Not cool in the least bit! That doesn't sound right, and I mean that in the
bad way. I saw this thing about 2 weeks ago, and it doesn't sound right in
the good way, the hairs-on-your-neck-raising good way!

^^So an import engine into a domestic is wrong but vise versa isnt? Dumb...
newyorker
LOL, when did I say that? I said THAT engine in THAT classic domestic is
wrong. It's as wrong as a 67 Mustang with a RB26DETT swap. Is it going to
be fast? Yes. Is it going to be cooler than a 427FE swapped 67 Mustang?
Hell no! Not in a million years!
Is that 240SX cooler than an RB26DETT 240, HELL YEAH!!!
elchango36
Not saying that, but an Import engine into a Domestic MUSCLE car,
especially 60s 70s, is a disgrace. Personally, I think it'd be cool in
maybe a 3rd gen F-body, or something of that sort. But not a 67-69 Camaro.
Oh, and LSx engines will go great in ANYTHING. Import, Domestic, doesn't
matter.
Satty101
i have seen that car in person and have to agree it was pretty sick...But i
do agree if u want to swap an import engine into a muscle car don't make it
such a rare car. Take like an iroc z or somethin that u see everyday.
V-Tec
Thats a matter of opinion, and I think you are wrong.
newyorker
I heard about the 2JZ camaro a while back, Im pretty sure its a local guy,
or I know there is a local one.
I think it was all bought on by an LS1 in a supra, someone tried it or
something and the 2Jz was done as a rebuttle. Well that was the last thing
I heard.
There was a big deal about it in on LS1tech.
I dont know why but I dont mind the car but I wouldnt want anything swapped
into a supra that just seems strange to me.
Oh and I personally really love 2Jz swapped 240s.

I don't think you can put a beautiful american muscle car like that to
shame with a little rice burner engine. However it's definately something
different than the everyday and was done very tastefully. You here rednecks
everyday talking about putting a small block into any rear wheel drive car
out there. But not too often the other way around. I gave a buddy of mine
my 240 after I blew the motor in it and his plan was to put a chevy LS in
it. Long story short it's probrably a small square of metal in a scrap yard
at this moment.
Definately something different and for what it is, done very well. Just
like the car on fast and the furious tokyo drift. I'd take a good old V8
any day over a newfangled 4cyl.
DBain
Well as they say you can't please everyone(or in this case anyone).
