Have you ever been to a racetrack? Women are encouraged, A LOT, to
participate. First woman to win? Seems about as important as first racer
to win with a beard. I don't see any disadvantage she had. If anything
she has an advantage, seeing as she is a household name after winning one
race. Think of how much sponsors back her compared to the men that have

Its great news(back then) but as long as she's still in IRL she won't get
noticed much. I'm rather more impressed to see Graham Rahal win in St
Petersburg as the team only had the Dallaras for a very short time. Shame
to see Champ Cars go but hopefully American Open Wheel racing can become
popular again. For now the ALMS is my favourite series right now.
