I've never been interested in NASCAR or similar......Something about
driving round in circles ust doesn't appeal, lol.....The speed is always
good though!

Every form of motorsport is an aquired taste, some you might like, some you
might not. That being said, NASCAR XXXX Cup racing is personality and
sponsorship driven and for the most part racing is secondary. What was
once a mostly regional sport with a long and interesting history has been
homogenized and simplified so everyone can understand it to the point of
being boring.
If I knew how to do it, I could show you some old racing footage that would
have you standing up and yelling at your TV within just a few laps. It
used to be that good the majority of the time. Now almost all that matters
is selling something and looking good.

I'm not a big fan of NASCAR either. I prefer watching Rally and Drag
racing more. I get sick to my stomach watching the drivers go around in
circles.

i have no interest in it!
i prefer the WRC, the BTCC, SuperTrucks (not trucks as in dodge ram but
lorrys!), the Paris-Dakar and the Gumball rally!

i go to a few nascar races, mainly bristol, but like alot of ya;ns said,
its all commercialized. i dont buy anything, i do go watch the race, but
the biggest part of the trip i enjoy is hanging with friends whom i dont
get to see much anymore, go camping for the weekend, grill out, play
cornhole, and drink some beer. its like a little mini vacation. i have a
good time.

I've never really been into it either but a few of my guy friends are
challenging me to get into it. I'm finding the rivalries really fun to
follow. This crash isn't nearly as good as the largest in Nascar history
but the rivalry between Kurt Busch and Tony Stewart makes for some drama on

lol they need to bring back the beach track like in the 60s i would love to
see these new cars run on that. put a few WRC cars on it and they would
tear the track up lol
