Hi there.
Basically, I'm looking for a car, I've been borrowing from friends for
awhile, but it's time to get my own. Right now, I'm looking at:
http://losangeles.craigslist.org/sfv/cto/1340466765.html
So it'd be a project car, yet is running well enough to get me to work and
back.
I've read that older camaro's are simple, and great to work on/restore, but
I don't know a whole lot about cars at the moment.
I'm hoping that once I get it, that I'll find some advice here to get it
running in great condition. So if this isn't the right place to be, maybe
someone could direct me to a more mechanically based forum if there's one
out there.
Thanks guys.

Thanks!
I actually ended up going with a 1987 Mazda Rx7, and I love it!
It's in decent shape, but is definitely a WIP. It's a salvaged title, which
isn't so bad, whoever the mechanic was that rebuilt it, did a fantastic
job, but the interior is pretty bad. Looks like the guy randomly picked
pieces from random cars from a junkyard. Oh well.
The bad: It's running pretty rich, and barely passed smog, and either the
ECU or the TPS needs adjusting, as it idles pretty rough (bounces from
maybe 100-750 rpm's) no idea really, but hopefully I learn enough here and
various other car forums to rebuild the car the way I want it.
Cya around!

(I detailed it & waxed it, and it looks much better now than in the pic.
I'll take a better one later on.
