look what i found, a ebay auction that happened last december, someone was
selling the ONLY road legal TVR Speed 12! (considered to be a mclaren f1
killer at its time!)

No, I believe they had a contract with Ford for some of their engines if
I'm not mistaken...

Done some research just now (I knew TVR stuck V8 AC Cobra lumps in their
cars a while back, but that's it), and saw that they put the Ford Zodiac V6
engine in the cars in the late 60s

i agree with that! they used the ford v8's, then went on to 6cyl's, then
the reincarnation of the v8 they used were Rover V8's then went back onto
straight 6's which were in house developed!
but apparently theyll get back to using V8's on the basis of thier own AJP
V8 which was planned to go into the Cerbera Speed8 but development took
longer than expected!
i suppose theyll use the Ford engines in america as the current ones dont
really match up to the USA's qualifications
