I have a 83 Chevy Caprice and I'm trying to get the back seat out. Is
anyone familiar with the procedure? please help b/c when I go at it and
start tugging it doesn't seem like I'm going about it the right way.

not familiar with your car at all. but its pretty basic, that most back
seats are 2 pieces... the bottom should have just a couple bolts and slide
out, the top should have a few bolts under the bottom seat, and then needs
to be slid upwards and then it can come out.

I don't know this car well either, but knowing body type might help others.
What have you done so far? do you have any idea how it is held in?
