The 2006 Dodge Charger is a 4-door, 5-passenger sports sedan, available in 3 trims, ranging from the Base to the RT.
Upon introduction, the Base is equipped with a standard 3.5-liter, V6, 250-horsepower engine that achieves 19-mpg in the city and 27-mpg on the highway. The RT is equipped with a standard 5.7-liter, V8, 340-horsepower engine that achieves 17-mpg in the city and 25-mpg on the highway. A 5-speed automatic transmission with overdrive is standard on both trims.
